How did Reigen get 1000 percent? ›

It's revealed that Reigen's words of wisdom to Mob just as he was about to go 100% changed the flow of his psychic energy; Mob subconsciously sent his psychic energy into Reigen, thereby "running away", with the psychic energy in Reigen going 1000% with Gratitude.

Mob's teacher in all things esper is Reigen, a regular old human who tries desperately to hide his total lack of powers from his young, self-imposed charge.

It is a recap of the first season, from the beginning of the series to the 7th Division Arc, but instead told mainly from the perspective of Reigen, with edits and details added to the story that make him the main protagonist.

Though Mob is regarded by most, if not all, as the strongest esper in the anime, there are multiple noteworthy characters with outstanding strengths of their own.

They are each holding bouquets; in front of them are Mob and Ritsu, who are presumably the "flower boys" for the wedding. It's unclear what Studio BONES was insinuating with the art, but Serirei fans hurriedly embraced the picture as proof that Serizawa and Reigen finally got married.

While he doesn't have supernatural powers, his keen intellect and ability to read people is so strong it can mimic, if not surpass real espers. Notably, he was the only one of the many espers who were assigned to eliminate the evil spirit possessing Minori Asagiri who didn't believe her lies.

When fans first meet Ritsu, he's introduced as Mob's younger brother who doesn't have the same telekinetic abilities that Mob possesses. For a while, it seems as though Ritsu resents his big brother for his powers. However, it was later revealed that Ritsu has his powers, even if they are inferior to Mob's abilities.

Fujiko Tsubomi (蕾見 不二子, Tsubomi Fujiko) is a powerful Esper and the founder of B.A.B.E.L. who has all the same powers as The Children where she is able to absorb energy, usually doing so with a kiss in the mouth.

While Ritsu seems well put together and mostly a kind person, it is revealed during season 2 that he's incredibly insecure. He looks up to his brother Mob but also envies him for his psychic powers.

Mob finally accepts himself and feels his emotions again, is finally brave enough to admit his feelings to the girl he's been in love with for most of his life, Reigan finally admit the truth to Mob about not having any psychic abilities, and he celebrates his birthday with people instead of being alone.

Once Mob is out, he merges with the Divine Tree again so he can levitate the giant broccoli into the ocean and destroy it.

Powers & Abilities

He claims that he is as powerful as the Ultimate 5. However, he is still clearly outmatched by the likes of Mob and his father, Toichiro, and the latter claimed that Sho wasn't strong enough to defeat Shimizaki. His psychic aura is orange in color with bubble-like patterns.

Because of the private dealings he did while alive, he lost his moral compass and became a twisted variant of his former self. After becoming an evil spirit, he vowed to use his power for his own intentions and fix the world by possessing people who appear to gather grudges around them.

As it currently stands though, Mob — or anyone in his series for that matter — wouldn't be able to face Goku seriously in a fight. Instead, Mob could benefit from learning a thing or two from Goku: the Spirit Bomb is a technique that would be a great fit for someone like Mob who's pure in heart.

Blonde. And no, it's not natural, but it adds to his suave conman charm! Reigen's hair is a fabulous shade of blonde! He's got that golden glow to match his golden advice.
