of Den- ver for 27 years. She and her husband, Floyd Weaver, were married 34 years on Feb. 10. Mrs. Weaver was a member of Ephrata Church of the Brethren, where she was treasurer, a deaconess and a Sun- Linda Weaver day school teacher.
Born in Reamstown, she was a Linda Weaver Janet Walters, 75, Christiana native Janet E. Walters, 75, of 42 W. Liberty died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. Her husband, Webster C.
Walters, died in 1994. She was a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church. Born Christiana, she was a daughter the late Cheftien W. and Esther R. Kirk Kennedy.
Janet Waiters Surviving are four daughters, Joyce E. Bloom, Judith wife of Paul E. Lehman, and Donna all of Lancaster, and Sharon wife of Raymond Stackhouse of Atglen; two sisters, Eva wife of Fred E. Smith of Lancaster, and Shirley A. Johnson of New Providence; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, Robert J. Brooks, preceded her in death. Anna K. Rissler, 74, East Earl resident Anna K. Rissler, 74, of 1734 Turkey Hill Road, East Earl, died Tuesday at home after a fourmonth illness.
Her husband, Paul H. Rissler, died in 1991. She was a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference. Born in Brutus, she was a daughter of the late Abraham B. and Fannie Kilmer Ringler.
Surviving are nine sons, Raymond husband of Mary Stauffer Rissler, and Paul husband of Marian Nolt Rissler, both of California, Floyd husband of Marian Newswanger Rissler, Wayne husband of Bernice Sauder Rissler, and Abram, husband of Barbara Diffenderfer Rissler, all of East Earl, David husband of Dorothy Humphrey Rissler of Denver, Samuel, husband of Ella Good Rissler of Hopkinsville, Robert, husband of Lucinda Kulp Rissler, and Amos, husband of Shilo Wenger Rissler, both of Terre Hill; and four daughters, Mary Alice, wife of David N. Kulp, and Esther Mae, wife of Jeffrey L. Sauder, both of Narvon, Anna, wife of Harvey W. Weaver of Denver, and Alma, wife of Kenneth M. Sensenig of New Holland.
Also surviving are two brothers, Samuel K. and Amos K. Ringler, both of East Earl; four sisters, Emma K. Barrett. Hastings, 31. resided at 246 Pulte Road. Born in Suffern, N.Y.. he was a foster son of Charles and Betty Hastings of Bill Hastings Mountain City, Tenn.
Hastings was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving besides his finacee and foster parents are three brothers, Eddie Daigle and Mike Charles Hastings, both of Paris, and Timothy Michael Hastings of Mountain City; and three sisters, Tammy White of Paris, LeAnn Dunlap of Dallas, and Peggy Ferrel of Elgin, Ill. Albert A. Carretta, was trade commissioner SANTAROSA, -Albert A. Carretta, a former member of the Federal Trade Commission, died Saturday after suffering a heart attack.
He was 88. Carretta served on the FTC from 1952 to 1954. He later represented corporations and trade associations before federal agencies in his law practice, from which he retired in 1989. Neff 83, was Armstrong retiree Harry E. "Eddie" Neff 83, of 1774 Hemlock Road, died Wednesday morning at ManorCare Health Services, 100 Abbeyville Road, after a long illness. He was the husband of Grace E. Clark Neff. Born in Millersville, he was a son of the late Harry E.
Sr. and Minnie Minerva Cogley Neff. He lived in the Lancaster area all his life. He and his wife observed their 47th wedding anniversary on Sept. 24.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mary, wife of Mark Miller of Elizabethtown, Lois, wife of Richard Harvey of Philadelphia, Brenda, wife of Dale Martin of Denver, and Sarah, at home; a son, Ronald, husband of Jane Weaver of Denver; a brother, Tom Clay of Reamstown; three sisters, Susan Dolla of Denver, Martha McCaffrey of Lititz and Catherine Mohler of Stevens; and nine grandchildren. Neff worked for Armstrong World Industries and Kerr Glass for about 40 years as a set-up man and mechanic in the art mold lining department until his retirement in 1976. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in England.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving besides his wife are a stepdaughter, Sherlyn Anne, wife of Richard L. Bell of Lancaster; a granddaughter; and a sister, Charlotte L.
